GREGORY B. BERKSTRESSER Gregory Berkstresser, 92, passed away July 1, 2015. Funeral service will be 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 7, 2015, at Floral Hills. Burial will follow. Visitation will begin one hour prior to funeral time. The youngest of 10 children, he was born in a farm house in Versailles, MO, April 6, 1923. He attended school in Versailles and in 1943 was inducted into the Army. He served overseas during WWII. He retired from Butler Manufacturing after 37 years. Greg was an avid bowler and a passionate Royals fan. He was preceded in death by his wife, Midge, of 61 years; sons, C. Leon and Gregg Jr., and daughter-in-law, Cindy. Survivors include his son and his wife, Steve and Kelo; daughter-in-law, Trudy; grandchildren: Lisa, Joe, Tuffy, Pat, Greg and Shawn; great grandchildren: Alex, Ashley, Cathy, Brandon, Adrienne, Bradley, Zoey, Zander, Corbin, Morgan, Hayden, and Olivia; and 1 great great grandchild, Avianna; and many nieces and nephews.
