Born in Kansas City, Missouri, Greg is survived by his mother, Alice V. O’Bleness, whose steadfast love and care surrounded him throughout his life and especially in his final days; his children, Madison (Josh) Dawby, Alanah Brandkamp, and Connor O’Bleness; his grandchildren; his brother, Brian (Cyndie) O’Bleness; and his nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Alfred O’Bleness; his stepmother, Mary Francis O’Bleness; his brother, Michael Leon Blair; and other close family members with whom he is now reunited.
Greg will be remembered for his resilience, his enduring love of the Kansas City Chiefs, and the loyalty he shared with a small circle of close friends who were like family to him.
At this time, the family will gather privately to honor Greg's memory.”
