He was a Christian gentleman of great faith, integrity and ability unstoppable.
He is survived by his wife Sande of sixty-four years. He adored their children Julie, Jennifer (Steven) and Todd (Sarah). That joy was increased with the arrival of seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Grover was born January 28, 1935. He graduated from Southeast High School in 1953 as class president. He graduated from Colorado University in 1957 and he followed by graduating from UMKC School of Law. He always strived to do his best scholastically and athletically.
He retired from Truman Medical Center following a dedicated career as legal counsel. With that same zeal he served Colonial Presbyterian Church for forty-two years. Later, he and Sande worshipped at the Summit Methodist Church of Lee’s Summit.
His frequently spoken words now are directed back to him, “It was a greater pleasure for us.”
A Celebration of Life will be held 1:00 p.m. July 24, 2021 at Colonial Presbyterian Church 9500 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64114. Followed by a private committal.
