Harley E. McElroy, 83, of Raytown, MO, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023 at Research Hospital. Harley was born August 28, 1939 in Quitman, MO, the son of Lloyd and Lola McElroy who preceded him in death.
Harley worked for Ford Motor Company, retiring after 35 years. He enjoyed gardening, bowling and trap shooting.
Survivors include his wife of 42 years, Rita, his daughters, Chris McConnell, Marcia McElroy, and Lori McElroy who preceded him in death. And his son, Craig McElroy. Grandchildren, Brandon McElroy and Brittnee McDonald who both proceeded him in death. Stepchildren, Shawn Davis and Shannon McDonald. Also surviving are sisters, Darlene Furlong, Marilyn Ballard and Debbie Denney.
Graveside services will be at a later date.
