Harold “Charlie” Taylor Curl, age 89, born in Slater, MO, on September 13, 1929, passed on October 15, 2018, at his home in Kansas City, MO, from ALS. He was in the US Air Force and retired from Honeywell. He was a member of The Church of the Resurrection in Leawood, KS. He was very social, and he knew most of his neighbors in every place he lived. He loved God, family, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Winona Curl; wife, Betty Jean Curl; brothers, Charles “Cy” Curl, William “Bill” Curl, Donald “Don” Curl, Robert Henry Curl, and Glen Burton Curl; sisters, Helen “Tiss” Petty, Wilma Kieffer, Doris Kendall, and Carol Lee Curl; and great-granddaughter Mikayla Allen.
He is survived by one brother, Glen Joseph Curl; sisters Neva Locke, and Lou Anne Fizer; children, David Curl, Theresa Simmons, Therenda Wilson (Gary), Tricia Antrim, and Tamra Cunningham (Steve); grandchildren, Stacey Hayes, Brandi Rogers, Aaron Antrim, Rachel Callahan, Kyle Partridge, Lori Hager, Richard Dedrick, Kelly Partridge, Sarah Messick, Keith Allen, and Karen Anglin; and 24 great-grandchildren.
