

Harold E. “Dave” Davidson, Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri passed away early Tuesday morning April 10, 2012 at home. He was born August 8th, 1945 in Kansas City. He served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam. Dave retired in 2000 from the Kansas City Southern Railroad after 31 years of service. He was a proud member of the Red Bridge Lion’s Club, DAV, NRA, and Tribe of Mic-O-Say. He was a legislative representative of the United Transportation Union. He was a supporter of many charities, Wounded Warrior Project, POW-MIA, City Union Mission, Salvation Army, St. Jude Children Hospital and Children’s Mercy Hospital. He also attended Calvary Lutheran Church. Dave is survived by his wife of 45 years, Toni and three sons David and wife Paola, Stephen and wife Rose, Jonathan and granddaughter Kaleigh. He is also survived by his mother Dorothy Bingham of Carrollton, Missouri, brother of Chillicothe, Missouri, brother and sister in Florida, aunts, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Memorial service will be held at Calvary Lutheran Church, 7500 Oak, Kansas City, Missouri on Friday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made in Dave’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, PO Box 758516, Topeka, Kansas 66675-8516.
