Harold Vestal, 78, Raymore, Missouri, passed away December 8, 2015. Visitation will be from 2:00-3:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Friday, December 11, at Mt. Moriah, Newcomer & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery.
Mr. Vestal was born November 3, 1937, son of Elza and Uva (Keifling) Vestal. He served his country in the U.S. Army and Air Force. He retired after 26 years with the Kansas City, Missouri Police Department as Detective. Mr. Vestal also served with the U.S. Marshall office as Court Baliff for 13 years. He was a member of the VFW and was Coach for 20 years with the Special Olympics.
He is survived by his wife Doris Vestal of the home; children Randy and Kathy Vestal of Kansas City, Missouri, Rochelle and Lloyd Collins of Kansas City, Kansas and Robert Vestal of Raymore, Missouri; grandchildren Brittany Vestal of Greenwood, Missouri, Jacob Vestal of Broomfield, Colorado and Joshua Williams of Bloomington, Indiana; extended family and friends.
