Harvey Lewis Mansfield, 76, Kansas City North, passed away January 14, 2011 at NorthCare Hospice House. Visitation will be 6-7 PM with a funeral service at 7:00 PM Thursday, January 20th at the McGilley Antioch Chapel. Graveside services will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 21st at Ashland Cemetery, St. Joseph, MO.
Harvey was born December 19, 1934 in St. Joseph to Harold and Lillian Mansfield, an only child. He was raised by his mother and step-father, Clarence McNeece. Harvey was a proud Marine, serving in the Korean Conflict, and a dedicated Shriner and Master Mason. He worked for the city of Kansas City at the airport. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Christine Mansfield, on January 6, 2011.
Survivors include his wife, Doris L. Davis; 3 children, Vickie Sills, Harvey Mansfield, Jr., and Tammy Alveraz; 2 step-children, Charles Davis and Jana Huerter; many loved grandchildren; and former wife, Nadine Norris. The family wishes to thank NorthCare Hospice, the very best.
