Harvey was born July 2, 1929 in Harrison, AR to Harvey F. & Lula Thompson. He was a US Navy Veteran serving in the Aviation Electronics during the Korean Conflict. Harvey was a member of the Shriners Mounted Patrol & his hobbies included hunting, fishing & horses.
Harvey is survived by his children, Steven Thompson (Tammy) & Vicki Van der Hoeven (Ian) both of Kansas City, MO and 5 grandchildren.
