Hazel Ellen Creasman, 92, of Blue Springs, MO, died in her sleep at home on May 24, 2014. She was born March 6, 1922 in Lockwood, MO, to Lon and Gail Lasater. She moved to Kansas City, Mo upon graduation from Lockwood High School, and here, married Lester Verne Creasman on March 2, 1946. In 1982, he preceded her in death. A brother, Norman Lasater, also preceded her in death. She is survived by her sister, Virginia Grider of Prescott, AZ, her daughters, Wanda Ellis (George, whom she loved as a son) and Barbara Hill of Blue Springs, four grandchildren, Bruce Ellis (Tania) of Fort Collins, CO, Christian Apodaca (Mathew) of Lee’s Summit, Nathan Hill of St. Louis and Geoff Hill (Tara) of Independence. She was fortunate to have 8 great grandchildren whom she loved, Jonah and Gabe Ellis, Aleka and Julian Apodaca, Shelby Corder and Piper, Emilia and Lucy Hill. Private interment.
