Heidi was born in St. Petersburg, Germany on July 20, 1926. She married Army Colonel (Chaplain) Arthur H. Marsh in 1951 and moved to the United States where they had five children together. She leaves behind her beloved children: Nanci Hirschorn and husband Steve Hirschorn of Overland Park, KS; Patricia Marsh of West Palm Beach, FL; Michelle Marsh of Coral Springs, FL; and Dr. Michael Marsh and wife Whitney Marsh of Ft. Smith, AR; ten grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved son Phillip Marsh and Frank Munsey, her husband of 24 years.
Heidi lived a very exciting life. She was very fashionable and traveled the world; was in a Cary Grant movie and a friend of John Wayne. Heidi enjoyed needlepoint, reading and cooking.
The family would like to thank the entire staff at The Brookdale Sweet Life and Brookdale Hospice for their excellent care of our mother. Our mother’s passing will leave a hole in our hearts forever. Heidi’s memorial will be a private ceremony with family. In lieu of flowers, donations in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association www.alz.org would be greatly appreciated.
