Helen Joan Hainje, 89, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2015. Helen was preceded in death by her brothers, Thomas and Vincent Kolmetz. She is survived by her loving husband of 68 years, John Hainje; her son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Julie Hainje and their children, Jessica, Matthew and Daniel; her daughter and son-in-law, Gayla and Curtis Kellogg; and her sister, Lucille Enloe.
Visitation will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 25 at Cure’ of Ars Catholic Church, 9401 Mission Road, Leawood, KS, 66206. Rosary will begin at 1:30 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 2 p.m. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery, Kansas City, MO.
Helen was an avid golfer, proud of being the first member of Brookridge Country Club and her three holes-in-one. She was a wonderful wife. mother and grandmother, and one of the sweetest women you could ever know.
