She was the youngest of the 4 children of Harry and Rosa Koehler Peterson. She was preceded by her husband Robert G. Hendley in 1981.
She loved her home, was a wonderful cook, and enjoyed her garden.
She was a photographic artist and colored thousand of portraits.
She leaves a daughter, Laura Hendley Thompson (George); grandsons Todd (Marti), Troy, and Tyler (Nicole); niece Becky; and seven nephews.
Visitation will be Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. with graveside at 2:00 P.M. at Floral Hills Funeral Home and Cemetery, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City Missouri 64133, 816-353-1218.
