I am so very sorry to learn of Hoddy's passing! I know Hoddy from Hamlin and even though I am many years older than her we would hangout and have a great time at reunions. I too am a lawyer and even worked as a recruiter for a few years and tried to recruit Hoddy! She introduced me to Bar Method for the first time many years ago as part of a Hamlin reunion event and I am now a regular. I am shocked to learn about Hoddy as I signed up for Bar Online classes and see her classes but then saw how she will be missed. I had to research her as I had a fear but now I learned of her passing last year. I wanted to leave a note to tell her loved ones there is another San Francisco lawyer, mom and Hamlin alumni who she touched and who will miss her.

I didn't know Hoddy well but it is so hard to understand how a person so full of life is no longer with us. Sincere and deep prayers to all who knew her.

I aspire to be more fun-loving each day because I knew Hoddy. She lived that way so beautifully. She shined so bright in her favorite pink and purple. She celebrated every day I saw her, breathing happiness and spreading it with kindness and charm. I am thankful for being a part of her Bar passion. Receiving her cheerfulness inspired me as a mother, wife and employee to discover the greatness in life's offerings. I was gifted with another year the day Hoddy passed on my birthday, and it will forever be imprinted with new meaning. I am indescribably more grateful that I have the opportunity of more time with my family now, and my heart aches terribly for hers. I hope I will get to split and dance with her in heaven again one day, she makes me smile.

I am so sorry to hear of Hoddy's passing. Although we lost touch after graduating from Lowell High School, I remember her as a really happy, energetic person. She always had a smile on her face and was just so full of joy. She will be deeply missed. I am sending my condolences to her family and friends.

I worked with Hoddy's mom, Ann, in San Francisco. Ann spoke of her so proudly and lovingly.  Hoddy used to come to the office and I remember the tour she gave us of the Law Firm when she first started working there. I send hugs and all my love to her family and hope to see Ann when they come back to San Francisco to visit.  All my love,

I have so many memories of my childhood with Hoddy.  Dressing up for Halloween, making up dances in PE, birthday parties, just being silly, the list goes on and on and on.  Even as a child, she had an amazing energy about her!  It's clear from the outpouring of support during her illness, and now after her death, that she was loved and appreciated by so many.  We're all incredibly fortunate to have known Hoddy. Best wishes to Mit and their kids.

I can still see Hoddy skipping down the Lower School halls in her Hamlin plaid uniform.  We will miss her beautiful spirit .  Sending love and support to her family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Hoddy's passing. I met her when I started Hamlin School as a five year old (she was seven) and she took me under her wing. She was full of life - an incredible athlete - and one of the warmest people I've ever known. She was, for the formative years of my life, my role model, as she was for many Hamlin girls. I'm fairly certain I would not be the woman I am today without her. I never had the pleasure of getting to know her husband or her boys, but I can only imagine what a terrible loss this is for them. I will keep her in my heart - shooting a killer jumper from the baseline- forever. My deepest condolences to her family. She will be missed!

I was one of the lucky ones that knew Hoddy. I feel blessed that I saw in person her spunkiness, her silliness, and felt her energy. Hoddy and I went to the same high school, and although we weren't friends then (she was a little younger), she was excited to make that connection with me the very first time we met. And I was hooked from that very moment. I am saddened beyond words, because I didn't realize how little time we had with this beautiful person. I am so sorry for her family, especially her young children. But if there's any indication of how incredible Hoddy was and how she was loved, all one needs to do is read the dozens of heartfelt messages pouring in. She touched us and made us love her, and we will never be the same. We love you Hoddy and will miss you forever.

I feel blessed to have gotten to know Hoddy over the years through our dear friend Susie. She kept me apprised of nearly everything going on in Hoddy's life. My heart just aches for you all. I cannot imagine the depth of your feelings of loss. But I am certain of the boundless love and joy Hoddy brought to your lives. 
I wish I could wrap my heart around you all, comfort you through this awful sadness.

I worked with Hoddy's mom, Ann, in San Francisco and met Hoddy when she would stop by our office after graduating from law school.  I remember when she first started at the law firm..she brought us by for a tour, so impressive!  Ann moved to Cape Cod, but I would hear from her about her family once in a while - especially when all the grandkids came.  So sorry to hear about Hoddy's passing..huge hugs to the family.  And yes, best wishes to Hoddy on her next journey.

I was blessed with meeting Hoddy at Yoga. I never saw her without a gleaming smile. She walked with an Ora of Light surrounding her and an everlasting effect on those that came into her presence. We send love, warmth, and peace to her children, husband and family.

I am grateful to have met Hoddy, such a beautiful person with a light that touched me and many others.  Godspeed to you Hoddy.  We love you and will hold you close in our memories.

My life is richer for having met Hoddy.  Her laugh, her drive, her enthusiasm for life, her love of motivating her students to find their strength and her uninhibited love of dancing will be missed terribly.  I'm a better person for having known Hoddy.

It's amazing how a brief  moment with someone can last a lifetime time. I was privileged  to take care  of her mani and pedi's.  Even though our time together was short and weeks apart. She touched my soul with her spectacular spirt and drive to never stop. My last memory  of her was looking back at me with her infectious smile saying "that's so awsome, have a great day" as she laughed and walked to her car.  I couldn't  be more blessed to have had our small moments  in time together.  Thank you Hoddy for the beautiful memory .  Heaven just got a who lot  brighter !

I feel so privileged to have known her and to have been inspired by her. She truly did have a glow about her that even Cancer couldn't diminish. She was the kind of woman who wanted the best for everyone and she inspired people to be the best possible version of themselves in everything they do. She was a rare gem. My prayers and many hugs to the family.

I'm so happy I got to count Hoddy as a friend.  She made a huge mark in her short time and I will miss her immensely.

I met Hoddy as my instructor in San Francisco and loved her from the moment we met. She was warm, funny, loving and always so encouraging. My heart goes out to her family and Mitt. She was one in a million. Sounds trite, but God really musted have needed another angel, I suppose. RIP. You touched so many hearts.

Hoddy inspired me.  I am just heartbroken that she is gone.  I grieve for her family and all of us who treasured her.  I recall a man at a party seeing her dance and asked "who is that blond goddess?".  She truly was a goddess in so many ways.  She  will be sadly missed. Her spirit will truly always be with us.  Tuck on Hoddy, Tuck on.

This lady was the quintessential bar goddess and guru. She was an example of perfect form and amazing passion for all things in the bar arena. I'm sure she was that way in all other arenas - but this is where I knew her best. I will miss her capable and challenging nature to make us all better students. This was too soon for us all. All we can do is continue to perfect our form as she would want us to do.

Hoddy was beautiful, intelligent, strong and vital and the world is a lesser place without her.  I remember the first time I met her and I knew then she was someone special. Our sincere condolences go to Mit and the children and the Potter and Winter families in the hours, days and weeks ahead.  Remember, that those who live on in the hearts of those they leave behind never die.
