He was born on December 7th, 1936, to Bernice Osborne & Jack Arnold Sr. In Kansas City, Kansas. He was their only son. He served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean war while stationed in Germany. He worked as a firefighter and a fire investigator where he received many awards and certificates for his outst}nding service. He retired from the Fire Department after 36 years of service and found employment with the Kansas City School District as a Fire Marshall where he would also later retire.
Jack accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior through discipleship with his daughter & son in-law, Karrie & Brian Robinson. He was a member at Graceway Baptist Church in Raytown, Missouri.
Jack loved canvas painting, wood carving, painting figurines, & fishing. His art has been on display in the library at the Kansas City Art Institute. He also was a great carpenter and remodeled just about every home he lived in.
Jack was preceded in death by his father, Jack Arnold Sr., his mother Bernice Brashier, & stepfather, Bill Brashier & his stepson Kurt Colvon.
Jack Arnold is survived by his children from a previous marriage, Deborah, Jack Andre, & Jack Lavance. His wife Victoria Arnold and her children; Melvin Colvon, Brent Colvon, Aaron Colvon, & Karrie Robinson. His grandchildren; Nikia Arnold, Jacquiline Arnold, Jack Andre Arnold Jr., Nadya Arnold, Jack Wendall Arnold, Joseph Arnold, Jasmin Spîinger, Karina Colvon, Skyler Robinson, Emma Colvon, Lillian Colvon, Aaron Colvon Jr., Eunice Tellez, Jalisa Colvon, Brent Colvon Jr., & Kurt Colvon Jr.
The family would like to thank the medical staff at St Luke's East & Crossroads Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Jack in his final days.
