Friday, November 20, 2020, Jack J. Miller, 83, loving husband and beloved father of five sons, went to join his bride, Dixie in their eternal dance, in the presence of their Savior, Jesus Christ. Jack was born on June 29, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri to Jim and Sarah Miller. He was a retired businessman who spent most of his career working side by side with his equally hard-working wife, Dixie. Jack spent the bulk of his remaining years traveling with his wife, in addition to playing golf with his golfing buddies.
Jack loved spending time with his kids and their families, his extended family, and the multitude of friends he and his wife shared, many of whom they had been friends with since high school. He had a passion for the Kansas City Chiefs, golf, a good cigar, and delicious food, particularly bar-b-que and grilled meats.
Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Sarah Miller, his wife Dixie, and his four brothers, Bob, Jerry, Dick, and George. He is survived by his 5 sons and their families, Jim and his wife Becky, Rusty and his wife Cindi, Mark and his wife Marylyn, Matthew and his wife Illiana, as well as Arthur and his wife Lisa. Combined, Jack left 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandkids. and many cherished nieces, nephews, and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, December 11 at Fellowship Church in Greenwood, MO., at 11:00 a.m. Donations to the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews, in leu of flowers is appreciated.
