Jack Parra

Our loving brother, Jack Parra, 52, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away March 26, 2013. Jack was born June 23, 1960 to Mike and Elvira Parra. He was a 1978 graduate of Westport High School. After working for many years for the Rehabilitation Institute, he retired in 2012. Jack was an avid sports fan and loved the Royals and the Chiefs. Jack never had a bad word for anyone and would always lend a helping hand. He had a great love for his family and was generous and pure of heart.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents, Mike and Elvira Parra; brother, Raymond P. Parra and nephew, Ricardo M. Gonzales. Survivors include siblings, Leandra Gonzales (Claudio), Anthony Parra, Sr. (Lidia), Miguel Parra III, Nance Parra, Delphina Martinez (Joseph); sister-in-law, Melissa Isbel Parra and many nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts and cousins.

Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Monday, April 1, 2013 at McGilley Antioch Chapel with the Rosary to be said at 7 pm. Funeral Mass will be 10 am, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at Holy Family Catholic Church, 919 NE 96th St; Kansas City, MO. Burial in Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
