

Jacqueline June Hunter (Jackie Williams), 83, passed away December 16, 2016 surrounded with the love of her family. She was born June 12, 1933 in Kansas City, KS, the daughter of John and Eva Williams. Jackie was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her daughter, Kelly (Garon), her son Michael (Monica) and who she was proud of most was her precious grandchildren; Austin Hunter, Jessica Schweitzer, Marriah Schweitzer, Luke Hunter, Brianna Schweitzer and Brett Schweitzer. Jackie attended St. Aloysius Elementary School in KC MO, Mount Carmel Academy in Wichita, KS, she received her Bachelor's degree in Education and Master's degree from University of Central Missouri. She taught in the Kansas City, MO School district for 38 years and ended her career as a Home-School Coordinator. She enjoyed raising her children in Raytown, MO and enjoyed our close knit neighborhood on Elm Street. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Parish, Raytown, MO for 30+ years. Jackie enjoyed camping/boating, spending time with neighbors, teacher friends, her children and most of all her grandchildren. She was an avid reader and should have had her own library! She was known for being a Coca Cola fanatic and should have had stock in it. And her favorite expression to many things was, "OH LORD!" (This always gave us a laugh.) A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 21st, 6-8pm at McGilley & Sheil Funeral Home, 11924 East 47th Street, Kansas City, MO, 64133 and a private burial at Mount Calvary Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her parents.
