James Edward Casey, 92, of Kansas City, MO, passed away November 6, 2014 at Kingswood. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. followed by memorial services at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 12, 2014 at Kingswood, 10000 Wornall Rd. Private inurnment in Mt. Moriah Cemetery at a later date.
Mr. Casey was born March 9, 1922 in Kansas City, MO, son of Joseph and Jane (Bell) Casey. He met his wife Mary Marie (Stewart) Casey at Sears, where she worked in administration and he as a stockman. They were married September 4, 1948. Mr. Casey served in the 307th Airdrome Squadron for the United States Army Air Force from 1942-1945. He was an avid hockey fan.
Mr. Casey was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Mary Marie on May 1, 2014. He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Casey (Harland).
