James Patrick "Pat" Corbett of Olathe, KS passed away on August 5th, 2014 after a long illness. He was born on April 26, 1936 in Kansas City, MO. He served with the U.S. Navy during the Korean War. Pat was proud of his Irish heritage and enjoyed spending time with his family whom he loved very much.
He was preceded in death by his parents John Rexford and Adelia Elizabeth (House) Corbett, brother, John Rexford Corbett Jr. and son James Patrick Corbett Jr. He is survived by his spouse Linda (Herrmann) Bissing, son Craig (Tami) Corbett, step-sons, Mark (Pam) Bissing and Jeffrey (Cherie) Bissing, grandchildren Sarah (Alan) Noel, Jessie Corbett, Jennifer (Adam) Petts, Dana Bissing, Douglas Bissing, Zachary Bissing, Taryn Bissing, Kaitlin Bissing, and four great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. followed by funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, August 8th at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd, Kansas City, MO. Burial in Mount Moriah Cemetery.
