James Earl “Jim” Koelling, 65, of Smithville, MO, passed away Thursday, September 4, 2014 in the loving arms of his wife, Sharron. He was born September 13, 1949, to Irvin and Martha Koelling. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his sister, Wanda Jean Bromme. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Sharron Koelling; two sons, Jeffrey Koelling, of St. Louis, Mo and Gregory Koelling and his wife, Jacyln, of Liberty, MO; siblings: Irvin Lee Koelling, of Lone Jack, MO, Jerry Vaughn & Kay Long, of Lone Jack, MO, Teresa Koelling, of Lake Tapawingo, MO. He also had a beautiful grandson and the twinkle in his eye, Travis Koelling. Per Jim and Sharron’s request, there is to be no funeral service; simply keep the family in your thoughts and prayers.
