Jim was born August 12, 1960 in Kansas City, MO to William and Dorothy (Flach) McAuliffe. He was a graduate of Bishop Hogan High School. Jim was involved in the Knights of Columbus and worked in a variety of industries throughout career. Jim had a fondness for Irish music and was proud of his Irish family heritage. Jim was preceded in death by his father. Jim was immensely proud of and is survived by his daughter, Shannon McAuliffe, two sons, Matt and Ben McAuliffe; his mother, Dorothy McAuliffe; his brother Mike McAuliffe and three sisters, Theresa Smith, Janet Corcoran and Jennifer Bain and several nieces and nephews.
