You have brought joy and touched many lives during your time on earth. You were a very thoughtful person with a huge heart who cared deeply for others. Your unique sense of humor made it easy for those around you to laugh. Your smile will live in our hearts forever. May you rest in peace. All our love.

A poem for my big brother Jimmy (or as I often called you, Jim-bo),

Most everyone will remember you as the guy who made them grin,
if there were an election to be class clown, you definitely always win.
Here's to some of my favorite times that you made me smile.......
When as a little girl you'd carry me on your back,
or when you took me to see my first movie (in a theater) called "That Darn Cat"!
Each time that I look at photos from our family tree,
your silly, funny face often is all that I see.
Because you liked to act as though you had buck teeth and/or crossed eyes,
maybe the rest of us acted to serious -and you were the truly wise.
Watching you around the little ones (like Sheyenne, Breanna and Luke)
you'd do anything to make them smile,
you always had a stash of toys that ran on and on for miles.
Or at your last birthday party when you turned 61,
you switched the candles to say 16 then insisted - it was done!
But you also had a serious side.......
For my sister and I on each our wedding day,
you walked us down the aisle and gave us both away.
You filled the shoes labeled "Dad" to us at the young age of 16,
we were only 3 and 9 but it did not go unseen.
No matter what curveballs life seemed to throw your way,
I never remember you complaining or having any bad things to say.
You will always be remembered and you will always be loved, 
I pray you're somewhere happy, watching from above.

I love you Jim-bo.  You were the best brother that I could have ever asked for!
