

James Lee Shultz, 75, of Roeland Park, KS, passed away March 8, 2014. James was born January 18, 1939, in Kansas City, MO to James P. and Dora H. (McNaught) Shultz. He worked at the KC Terminal Railroad for 12 years and then went to work with the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 1999 after 30 years of service as a Mailhandler. He was an avid fisherman. James was a very extensive buyer/seller/collector of guns and knives, participating in many gun and knife shows throughout the country.
Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday March 15, 2014, at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 W. Linwood Blvd., KCMO with a time of remembrance at 1:00 p.m. James was preceded in death by his parents and his wife Rose, in 2006. He is survived by one son and three daughters, Nick L. Gomez, Jr., and wife Carol; Marsha Ann Mull, and husband Jeff; Barbara Lynne Magana, and husband Frank, and Helen Marie Whisler, and husband Mark, and 10 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
