
James Edward "Sully" Sullivan, age 75, formerly of Utah, peacefully passed on August 18th, 2016 at his home in Independence, Missouri. Graveside service to be held at 12PM on Saturday, Aug. 20, at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens. Born in Detroit, Michigan, of father James Aubrey and mother Hazel, Sully is survived by his wife Anna (Sue) Sullivan, his daughters Toni Dayton and Kandi Hickey (Ronald E. Hickey); grandsons Eli Dayton, Seth LaBean, Tucker and Hunter Hickey, and many loved ones. Sully was preceded in death by his father, mother, brother Aubrey, and grandson Ian Dayton. Sully was a past Exalter Ruler for the Price Elks Lodge #1550 in Price, Utah and Park City Elks Lodge #749 in Park City, Utah. He served as past District Deputy of the Utah Elk Association at Grand Lodge, Southern Utah. He was a two-time past Master of Joppa Lodge #32 Masonic in Price, Utah. He achieved the Scottish Rite 32nd Degree Mason in the State of Utah, as well as York Rite Mason and El Kalah Mystic Shriner. He was a four-time past President of the Southern Utah Shriners Club and three-time past Patron for the Order of the Eastern Star Masonic. He had life membership for the Order of the Moose and the American Legion. He was a charter member of the American Flag Alliance, also a life member of the Illinois Police Association and the Illinois Sheriff Association. He served as past President of the Fazzio Water Company in Carbon County, Utah, past City Superintendent of Mounds, Illinois, and past President of the River Shadow Estate in Washington, Utah. He served in the United States Army & Navy. He was a Chairman of Beautification of Price City, Utah. He received countless awards from the Elks of United States and the Masonic Organization.
