She was born in Oklahoma City, OK, Sept. 29, 1944, to Cleo Carlton and Mozelle (Whitley) DeLaney. She spent the majority of her adolescence in Monarch, Arkansas with her Grandmother Pearl and Granddaddy Zelbert Whitley. She was a 1962 graduate of Paseo High School. It was there she met the Love of Her Life, Larry Dale Jones. They were married on December 29, 1962. She retired from Sherwin Williams as their Operations Manager after 25 years of service. She was a member of ABWA (American Business Women’s Association). Janice was a member of Randolph Baptist Church for over 50 yrs. She was an avid KC Chiefs and KC Royals fan. Janice loved to read, watch “The Wheel,” go fishing and text with her family! She was a Christian woman who shared her faith with everyone she met. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be greatly missed! She lived for her family, grandkids, and friends!
She is preceded in death by her Mother Mozelle and Ray Noel Ashley and Father Cleo DeLaney.
She leaves behind her Husband of the home: Larry Jones, they were married 58 years; Daughters: Kimberly and Robert Nabazas; Christine Frisbey and Roger Billings; Deborah and Jason Ragone; Grandchildren: Loren Ray and Zack Flageolle; Max Nabazas; Corey and Leah Taylor; Dawsen Ragone, Graysen Ragone, and Ashleigh Ragone. Great-grandchildren: Navy Ray Flageolle and Hudson Kristine Taylor. Brother: James Crownover and Nephew: Larry Keith Crownover.
