On January 7th, we said goodbye to our beloved husband, son, and friend Jason Michael Younk of Bergland, MI; Tampa, FL; and Kansas City, MO. Jason passed quietly after valiantly battling a serious illness, surrounded by his wife and mother.

Jason was preceded in death by his grandmother, Yvonne, with whom he was extremely close.

Jason will be remembered for his smile, energy, sense of humor, and quick wit.

Jason is survived by his wife Jennifer, mother Sharon, grandfather George, step-father Jim, brother Jeremy, 2 nephews Chase and Carson, a niece Harper, as well a large extended family.

In Loving Memory of My Son:

Of all the special gifts in life

however great or small

To have you as my son

was the greatest gift of all

A special time

A special face

A special son

I can’t replace.

With aching heart

I whisper low

I miss you son

And I love you so.

I remember always looking forward to camping in the summer with my family cause that would be when Jason would be up visiting and we would ride bikes and have fun at the campsites. Then when he came to school up in bergland it was cool to hang out with him again. He was a good friend and he will so be missed. Thoughts and Prayers to his family.

Jason was a wonderful kind caring person. I remember how he always had a smile on his face and how kind he was. Rest in peace and god bless you and your family in their time of grief!

I only knew him from the Chron's group on Facebook. May he rest in eternal peace and finally be free of this dreadful disease as he enjoys paradise.
