Jean (Wells) Ball of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away peacefully at home December 8, 2013. Born September 15, 1929 and raised in Nashville, Tennessee, Jean was the only child of Hazel and Carter Wells. She graduated from Stephens College in Columbia, Missouri where she met her husband Robert Ball. After raising her four children, she worked as a travel agent. Jean enjoyed traveling, particularly to England, gardening and playing the piano.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Robert “Bob” Ball; children Steve (Judy) Ball of Roeland Park, Kansas, Dan Ball (Lori Golze) of Hood River, Oregon, Julie Ball of Kansas City, Missouri and Susan Boyer (Tim) of Lenexa, Kansas, and grandchildren Nathan Ball, Annie Ball and Luke Ball (Anna Honas), Nick Boyer and Brett Boyer.
Jean was a much loved wife, mother and grandmother, and will be missed dearly.
