Jean Ann Williams, 76, Kansas City, MO passed away September 30, 2013. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., with a Time of Sharing at 7:00 p.m., on Wednesday, October 2, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Chapel, 10507 Holmes. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Good Shepherd Hospice.
Mrs. Williams was born November 16, 1936 in St. Louis, MO, daughter of Joseph R. and Mary E. (Kamer) Britt. She substitute taught for many years and taught piano in the home. She enjoyed spending time at the Lake of the Ozarks with her family. She was preceded in death by her two brothers Robert E. Britt and John (Jack) R. Britt and three grandchildren Stephanie, Chad and Sean McCormick. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years Emmett Williams; children Mike Williams (Leslie), Jefferson City, MO, Shelley McCormick (Mike), Independence, MO, Denise Richards (Kip), Overland Park, KS, and Elizabeth Williams (Buddy), San Diego, CA; and seven grandchildren.
