Jeanette Kathleen Sherman

Jeanette was born October 5, 1943 to Rudolph Lindquist and Florence Muirhead. She passed away on September 2, 2024 at St Luke’s Hospital, South Kansas City due to cardiac complications. Jeanette is survived by her two children: Michael Parker Sherman Jr., Christopher Timothy Sherman MD/PHD and five grandchildren: Morgan, Zoe, Andrew, Madison and Colette.

Jeanette was proud of her 25 year career, working as a medical technologist at the Veterans Administration Hospitals in California and later in Kansas City. She enjoyed many hobbies in retirement. She was an amateur ornithologist and botanist. Jeanette enjoyed reading books and long chats over the telephone with friends and family. Jeanette was very knowledgeable on many topics. She was a wonderful teacher to her children. Jeanette was very fond of her many Scottish Terriers over the years. Jeanette was known as smart, witty (in her own special way) and dedicated to friends and family.

Memorial service on Saturday, September 7th at 3:00pm at McGilley State Line Chapel 12301 State Line Road Kansas City, MO 64145. Reception to follow.
