Jeffrey Craig Bledsoe, or as he preferred to be called “Jeff”, bid farewell to this world on November 6, 2023 in Kansas City, MO. He was born on January 19, 1960 in Kansas City to his parents, Kenneth and Joan Bledsoe.
Jeff was a real go-getter, starting his journey at the family business, Bledsoe Rentals, when he was just a wee lad of 10 years old. He dedicated his time and energy to the company until it waved goodbye at the age of 55. Jeff’s work ethic was truly rental-enthusiastic!
When he wasn’t busy being a business whiz, Jeff had a few hobbies that kept him entertained. He was the ultimate Kansas City Chiefs fan, always cheering them on with gusto. And let’s not forget his love for taking care of his home and his adorable feline companions, Mr. Buggars, Miss Kitty and Nutty Nutz. They brought him purr-fect happiness!
Jeff was known for his kind heart, generous spirit and his ability to have a blast wherever he went. He had a knack for making people smile and laugh, leaving a trail of joy in his wake. He was a true master of fun!
He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Bledsoe; his brother, David Bledsoe and his son, Michael Bledsoe.
Left to cherish Jeff’s memory and keep his spirit alive are his loving partner and significant other, Peggy Snodgrass; his wonderful mother, Joan Bledsoe; two sons, Brandon and Jacob Bledsoe; fantastic daughter-in-law, Melissa; his adorable grandchildren, Lucas, Logan and Lena Bledsoe; and his sisters, Terri Fike, Pamela Herman and Sheila McInnes.
A celebration of his extraordinary life will take place from 4-6 PM on Friday, November 17, at Floral Hills Funeral Home, 7000 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, MO. It’s going to be a gathering filled with love, laughter and perhaps a sprinkle of Jeff’s mischievous spirit.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia Foundation, https://givenow.lls.org/give. Let’s honor Jeff’s memory by helping others in need.
As we bid adieu to Jeff, let’s remember the joy he brought to our lives, the laughter he shared and the memories we made together. He will forever remain in our hearts, sprinkling his playful spirit wherever he goes. So long Jeff and thank you for all the fun!
