Jeffrey Jack Weston

He is survived by his wife Beth; children Aaron, Chloe, and Trent; two grandchildren; brothers Mark and Tim; as well as numerous lifelong friends.

Jeff was born in Galt, Missouri on April 3rd, 1955. He was raised by his father, Jack, and his mother, Carmela. Jeff grew up revering his parents and would carry this deep love and respect for them throughout his entire life.

As a child, Jeff was fond of spending time with the elderly residents of Galt, as well as learning the intricacies of clocks and watches. This simple childhood curiosity would develop into a skill that would later play an important role in his life. He graduated from Grundy R-V high school in Galt, Missouri in the class of 1973. At sixteen years old, he began his first job working after school for Reva’s Jewelry Store in Trenton, Missouri repairing watches for clients. This was only the beginning of a lifelong career in the jewelry trade, a trade that Jeff came to master. His love of curios extended well beyond jewelry, to include a great knowledge of watches, clocks, coins, guns, pens, and almost any other artifact with a history that he could get his hands on. He would go on to run his own jewelry and watch business, an enterprise that allowed him to live a very free lifestyle that suited him quite well.

In 1982 Jeff met his lifelong partner, Beth Little. Together they would take business trips all over the country, visiting Jeff’s friends and making deals at the homes and businesses of the people he loved working with. When possible, Jeff also enjoyed bringing his children on these trips and creating lifelong memories for the entire family.

He was a long-standing member of the NAWCC (National Association of Watch and Clock Collectors) as well as the Trenton Elks Lodge and the Masonic Lodge.

Much will be missed about Jeff, including his sharp wit, his unfiltered opinions, and his constant devotion to providing a better life for his family.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carmela, father Jack, aunt, Tommie, and uncle, Buddy.
