Jennifer Louise Carter

Jennifer L. Carter, 35, Lee’s Summit, MO, journeyed to her heavenly home on November 27, 2015. A sunbeam set aside just for her shone brightly as she embraced her Creator and was reunited with family and friends. A service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, December 1, at 10:30 a.m., at First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit, 2 N. Douglas, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063. Friends may call prior to the service, beginning at 9:00 a.m.

Jennifer was born March 7, 1980, in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from Lee’s Summit High School in 1998 and from University of Central Missouri in 2002, earning a business administration degree in accounting. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit and was employed by Global Scholars in Overland Park, KS. Jennifer was preceded in death by her father, Michael R. Turner, in 1980; her brother Brian, in 1997; and her mother Jeanne in 2007. She is survived by her dad, Elton L. Carter, and her sister, Erin L. Carter.

In lieu of flowers, Elton and Erin suggest that donations be made to Global Scholars, a non-government organization serving Christian universities worldwide in demonstrating the love and lordship of Jesus Christ.
