He worked for General Motors for more than 27 years and retired in 1992. After retirement from General Motors, Jerry worked for 20 years with a painting company (Quality for Less).
Jerry was an avid golfer, loving husband and father. He was a Deacon and Property Chairman at Eastgate Christian Church.
Jerry was married to his wife Jean for 40 years, together they had one son, John.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers; Bob and Donald Ebert and a sister Shirley Mandina.
He is survived by his wife, Jean (Novotny) Ebert, son; John (Christina) Ebert, grandchildren; Joshua Ebert, Angus Ebert and Lindsey Schreimann (Ebert), and a brother, Ray Ebert.
