He graduated from Southwest High School in Kansas City, Missouri. He went on to serve in the military in the Air Force as a gunner. After retiring from the Air Force, he went to work for his father who owned and operated L.C. Frey & Son Lawn Service continuing to carry on the business for over 70 years. Many young boys from his church worked for him during the summers, and instilled his hard working Christian ethic in these young boys.
He had been a member of Holmeswood Baptist Church since 1957. He was actively involved serving as Deacon, a counselor for the youth group in his early years, and attended Men's Bible class. For many years he did the lawn maintenance and snow removal for the church.
He is preceded in death by his parents, 3 siblings, and his loving wife Charlotte.
He is survived by his two sisters Shirley and Judi, three daughters Terry, Cindy, Paulette, 8 grandchildren, and 12 great- grandchildren
The family would like to thank Spring Hill Care and Rehab and Phoenix Hospice for the care and compassion they showed our loved one in his final days.
