Joan Marie (Hedges,) Johnson, 66, Parkville, passed away on Feb. 21, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, Feb. 24, at 11:00 AM at St Therese Catholic Church, 7207 MO Hiway 9, Kansas City. Visitation will precede the service beginning at 10:00 AM. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Cookingham Road, Kansas City.
Joanie was preceded in death by her parents, John and Helen Hedges. She leaves her husband of 40 years, Jerry, Sr.; three sons Chris (Renee), Vince (Shannon) and Jerry (Teresa) Johnson, Jr.; two granddaughters Morgan and Giana; two grandsons Dylan and Nick; a sister, Jackie Thompson; and many cousins and friends.
