JoAnn L. Rosenthal, 77, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away Sunday, September 26, 2010 at Kansas City Hospice House. Visitation will be held from 9:00-10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 30, followed by funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Catholic Church, 425 W. 85th Street, Kansas City, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Christ the King Parish. Mrs. Rosenthal was born May 4, 1933 in St. Louis, Missouri, daughter of Daniel Patrick and Helen (Shockey) Lyons. She was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, sister Sally King and her husband Austin, and sister-in-law Marilyn Rosenthal. Mrs. Rosenthal is survived by her husband Robert Rosenthal of the home; children Daniel Rosenthal (Rhobbin), Stephen Rosenthal (Melissa), Mary Sue Rosenthal (Alison Gee), Charles Rosenthal (Sandra), and Linda Irick (Rex); and brother-in-law Richard Rosenthal.
