I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER THE MANY HOURS WE SPENT WORKING FOR THE SHAWNEE CHAMBER OF COMMERCE. ONE OF OUR BIGGEST PROJECTS WAS TO BUILD A RAMP AT SHAWNEE MISSION NORTHWEST HIGH SCHOOL AUDITORIUM FOR THE MISS SHAWNEE PAGEANT MANY YEARS AGO.
I WAS BRANCH MGR FOR ANCHOR SAVINGS IN SHAWNEE KS AT THE TIME.

We are so sad to hear of Jo's passing. It was such a shock after seeing her so recently at Jessi's wedding. We are thankful she is with the Lord, but know you will all miss her so much. May God comfort you as you grieve.

Bob and family. I'm so very sorry for your loss. Jo was a very nice lady. I enjoyed my talks with her. She will be missed.

I am grateful for the life of Mrs. Shippee.  Thanks to her service and to the service of others in our armed forces, my family and I have been able to lead our lives in freedom and peace.

Bob & family:  Those of us who were privileged to know Jo have lost a good friend.  She was a strong and special lady and will be so very missed.  Am praying our Lord will give you comfort in the days ahead.  I'll miss her friendship and interesting conversation and most of all, her presence. Love to all of you.  Barbara Blair
