JoAnn Melching Wymore, 84, Overland Park, Kansas, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2014. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, February 27, at Unity Church of Overland Park, 10300 Antioch Road. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery South. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Children’s Mercy Hospital Century Club and Unity Church of Overland Park.
Mrs. Wymore was born July 8, 1929 in Shawnee, Kansas. She was a loving mother of four children, and devoted wife of 65 years. She unexpectedly went to be with the Lord with her family at her side.
She was preceded in death by her son Mark Wymore. Mrs. Wymore is survived by her husband Andrew Wymore; son Craig Wymore; daughter Brenda Wymore; son Brent Wymore; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
