Joanne Owens, 71, of Overland Park, KS, passed away March 19, 2012. Visitation will be held from 12:00-1:00 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 28, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House.
Joanne is survived by her son Michael and wife Kim Wood of Tappahannock, VA; daughters Jamie Saunders of Louisburg, KS, Angela Burton of Kansas City, MO, and Jennifer Passiglia of Winfield, KS; brother William Hopkins of Overland Park, KS and sister Elizabeth Moherman of Wellsville, KS, as well as 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
