Joe Rojas, 79, of Raytown, MO passed away peacefully June 23, 2018 at Menorah Hospital surrounded by family. Joe was a very knowledgeable man who had worked for 35 years in the Hospital Supply Business starting at American Hospital Supply; and in his younger years at the age of 13 worked at many of the Hotels in Kansas City including the Muehlebach, which was his favorite. Joe was well received by his friends, neighbors, and co-workers. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him. Joe was the first one of his siblings to graduate from High School. Joe was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great-grandfather, friend.
Joe was preceded in death by his parents Julian and Amparo Rojas; Sisters, Emilia, Inez and Delores; brothers, Vincent, Julian, Renard, John and Peter; Daughter, Julie.
He is survived by his wife Sylvia; Son and Daughter-in-law Joseph and Carol Rojas of KS; Daughters and Son-in-laws Laura and Doug George of MO, and Natalie Rojas Fast and Josh Fast of Stockton, MO.
Stepdaughter, Danielle Myers and grandson Alex McBrayer of MO, Kelly and Rod Yoder of IN; Stepson and daughter-in-law Michael and Robin Moeller of KS.
Joe also leaves behind his sisters and brother Aurora, Conception, Carmen and Robert.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Christina and Christopher Edwards of NC; Joseph Rojas of MO; William Hayes of TX; Andrea and John Rice of MO; Kaytlin Neese of Stockton, MO; Joseph and Kent Fast of Stockton, MO; Ethan and Kristi Yoder of IN; Payton, Destyne, Raiden and Ashia of IN; great-grandchildren Alessandra (Ally) of TX; Andrew, Aurora and Bane of MO; Kyle and Evan of IN; and many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held July 7th at 11457 Yecker Ave, Kansas City, Kansas 12:00 – 4:00 PM.
