I was best friends with John's daughter Cindy growing up in First Regular Baptist church in KC. I remember many birthday parties and slumber parties as a little girl and teenager at their house. He gave me rides to Awana club for years and a fun trip to Nebraska AWANA olympics one year with John,Betty,Cindy,Johnny, and Linda. Also remember many Saturdays skating at the BlueRidge Skating rink growing up. I have many great childhood memories involving John Adams and his famiy. I haven't seen him or the family for quite a few years, but I know he was a great dad and grandfather and I know he will be missed by so many people. I will keep his family in my thoughts and prayers during this time.
