John Michael Connealy

John Michael Connealy, 65, of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away July 26, 2017. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at noon, Wednesday, August 2 at The Church of the Nativity, 3800 W. 119th St., Leawood, Kansas. Visitation will be at the Church at 10:30 AM just before the Mass.

John was a lifelong Kansas City resident; although he would want it noted that he always lived east of State Line Road. He attended and graduated from both Rockhurst High School and Rockhurst University. John was a loyal and true friend to the many people he met during his life; especially those with whom he worked for many years at Kelly’s in Westport. John’s passions were Royals baseball, golf, classic movies, and Mizzou sports. His favorite memories were of his buddy trips to major league ballparks throughout the country.

John was preceded in death by his parents Philip and Marcella Connealy, his brother Joseph and his sister Cathleen Connealy. He is survived by his brothers Dan, Kevin (Candy), Terry, Tim (Laura), and many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Welcome House or Kansas City Hospice.
