Although we just recently met John, we liked him very much and found his industrious nature, in spite of his illness, to be inspiring. We wish the best for his family and friends and know this wonderful man will be dearly missed. Ronda Reems and Mark Epstein

Our heartfelt condolences to Judy and family. We will always remember John
as a very gentle, compassionate and generous man and we will miss him dearly. We have had the great privilege to work with him with our Philippine medical missions and packing of hospital and medical supplies and will treasure those great memories with him. We will be praying for his eternal rest.
Our loss is heaven's gain.

Oh the great memory I have of such a caring man I met at Englewood Baptist church, John Ellis and to learn he was my close friends step dad was a bonus! That was more than 30 years ago and I can't think of a more caring man than John Ellis. He even tolerated us girls in middle school and high school, still with his gentle ways! Blessed with such an amazing family, you ALL are in my thoughts today. And thank you for sharing the awesome pictures!!!

John was the very best mentor I could have had at New York Life. He taught me how to sell his favorite products, and I've been successful ever since!

Judy, I'm so sorry I won't be able to attend the visitation or funeral, but I am praying for you in this time of deep sorrow (although I know that you are grateful for your life with him and are happy that he's now in heaven with no suffering.)
