John F. Hogue, 50, passed away on June 9, 2013. John was born in December of 1962 and spent his childhood at Drumm Farm. He began his employment with Sprint in 1987 where he spent more than 17 years in different positions. In 1997, John married Pamela and they had two children, Ethan and Mikayla. John, an Eagle Scout, enjoyed participating in Boy Scout activities with Ethan. John also enjoyed coaching Mikayla’s soccer team and watching her participate in many activities. Friends may call between 10 am and 12 pm on June 17 at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, Overland Park. A Funeral Mass will follow at 12 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to Boy Scout Troop 265, c/o Holy Spirit Catholic Church.
