

Jack Kissinger, 89, Kansas City, passed away Dec. 5, 2016 at the Missouri Veteran’s Home in Cameron. Visitation is Friday, Dec. 9 from 4:00-6:00 followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 6:00 PM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 7207 NW Highway 9, Kansas City. Following cremation, Jack will remain in the arms of his family.
Jack was born Jan. 14, 1927 in Kansas City, KS to John T. and Josephine Kissinger. Following high school, he served in the Navy. He married the former Marie Henn on June 19, 1948. They enjoyed 68 years of marriage together.
Jack loved the outdoors and excelled as a husband, father and Scout Master. He worked 30+ years as a steel container salesman at Jones & Laughlin.
Preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Joe, he is survived by his loving wife, Marie; sons Kevin (Elizabeth Brandel) Kissinger and Brian (Todd McCandless) Kissinger; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
