Mr. Lewis was born November 26, 1929 in Kansas City, Missouri, son of Robert Y. and Anna V. (Anderson) Lewis. He owned Greenhouse Flowers, Inc. and Robt. Lewis Greenhouses. Mr. Lewis coached his children’s baseball teams and enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports. His favorite pastime was driving around in his truck. He was also an avid fisherman and sportsman.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Robert “Bud” Lewis, Jr. and three sisters. He is survived by his wife Glendeana (Taylor) Lewis; sons John K. Lewis Jr. and Brandy Rye of Kansas City, Missouri and Keith Lewis and wife Gina of Raymore, Missouri; daughter Kimberly Ebel and husband Bob of Kansas City, Missouri; five grandchildren Dillon, Darby, Kate, Lewis Lane and Kenan Ebel; extended family and friends.
He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who will be missed by all.
