John Oswalt, 69, of Belton, MO, passed away March 15, 2012. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00 p.m. followed by funeral service at 3:00 p.m. Monday, March 19, at Mt. Moriah & Freeman Funeral Home, 10507 Holmes Rd. Burial in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. John was born September 28, 1942 in Ann Arbor, MI, son of Estelle and Ellis Oswalt. He graduated from Paseo High School in 1960. On July 1, 1962 John married Kitty Sue Baker. He retired from Western Electric/AT&T/Lucent in 1996 after 35 ½ years of service. He was preceded in death by his parents and grandson Adam Emeola. John is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kitty Sue Oswalt; daughters Pamela (Oswalt) Evans and husband Britt and Vicki (Oswalt) Emeola and husband Scott; grandchildren Brittney, Zachary and Emily Evans, and Bethany Emeola; extended family and friends.
