John Joseph Stone, 98, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016. Visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 22 and funeral service 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 23 at Mount Moriah, Newcomer and Freeman Funeral Home 10507 Holmes Rd. KCMO.
John retired from State Farm Insurance after 45 years. He was a charter member of Leawood Baptist Church and a member of the Freemasons—Old Mission Lodge in Prairie Village for 65 years.
John was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Stone. He is survived by his son, Joseph (Mary) Stone and granddaughters Amanda Bentley and Lisa Stone.
