

Jose Trinidad Nava, was born on November 24, 1922, he passed away peacefully on November 25, 2006, at the Kansas City Hospice House in Kansas City, Missouri. Memorial Mass will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 28, at Guardian Angels Church. The family will have a private burial. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at McGilley Midtown Chapel, 20 West Linwood Blvd., Kansas City, Missouri. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice, located at 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145 or Guardian Angels Church, 1310 Westport Road, Kansas City, Missouri.
Jose was born to Damaso and Angelina Nava in Tamazula, Jalisco, Mexico. After completing his education, he worked in commercial real estate in Guadalajara. He married Maria de la Luz on April 19, 1952. Jose and Luz have six daughters. In September of 1962, Jose and his wife and daughters moved to the United States and made Kansas City their home. Jose worked for Bel-Art products for 44 years and enjoyed it so much he had no plans to retire. Jose enjoyed his family, work and travel. He traveled to Europe several times and made numerous trips to the beautiful beaches of Mexico. He also enjoyed several unforgettable cruises with his wife. Jose is now going to take a spectacular cruise to heaven and will be in the loving arms of God, our Savior.
Jose is survived by his loving wife of 54 years, Luz J. Nava and his six adoring daughters: Luz de la Paz Gomez (Salvador), Laura Alanis (Tony), Miriam Nava, Beatriz Glenny (Bob), Maria Justus (Frank), and Gabriela Wise (Ted). He is also survived by nine wonderful grandchildren, Miriam, Michael, Melissa, Cristina, Alex, Frank, Nolan, Nicholas and Matthew. Jose was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be missed by his family and friends and will always be remembered with much love and respect.
